Questions? We're here to answer...

  • NEW: What are your Covid-19 policies?

Our number one priority is to make sure our patients and team members stay healthy. This commitment has been heightened due to the global pandemic. In addition to a long history of being vigilant in sterilization and infection controls, we have added new measures and follow the latest in guidelines from the CDC, ADA, and local jurisdiction.

For the safety of our patients and team members, we request all patients regardless of vaccination status to please wear a face mask when entering and exiting our facility, and when interacting with front office team members.

All patients will be screened upon arrival. If you have run a fever in the past 72 hours, have flu-like symptoms, or have traveled in the last 14 days, please inform us prior to your visit and we will reschedule you appropriately.

As of January 2022, our lobby area is open to patients. However, if you prefer, you may call the office from your car and remain in your vehicle until your provider is ready at which time one of our assistant's will come to you.

    Monday:      9:00 - 6:00

    Tues/Wed:  8:00 - 5:00

    Thursday:   7:30 - 1:30

  • How do I book an appointment?

It is easy to make an appointment for your initial examination and dental treatments with Epic Dentistry. Book online or simply call 303-972-2224 and one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist you. If you schedule an appointment and something comes up, please call and cancel 48 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patient requests.

  • What can I expect during my first visit to Epic Dentistry?

Walk into our lobby where you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will show you around the office and answer any questions you may have.

Your initial dental exam will take around one hour. The expert staff at Epic Dentistry will ask you questions, get to know your oral hygiene routine, and listen to your health concerns. We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make good choices to improve their oral health. We will demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth then Dr. Caulfield will complete your examination and make recommendations for proposed dental treatments.

  • What insurance providers do you work with?

The short answer is, we will work with any insurance provider who will work with us! Many providers give you the option to work with the Dentist of your choice; you can validate that with a simple call to your provider.

As a courtesy we will be glad to estimate your coverage and file your claim when valid insurance is provided a minimum of 48 hours prior to your visit. Any uninsured portion not covered by your insurance plan will be collected at the time of service.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

Epic Dentistry is a "fee-for-service" dentistry. This allows us to offer our patients the best in care at competitive rates, providing more freedom with regard to treatment options.  We will gladly accept your dental insurance company's assignments of benefits, with the understanding that any uninsured portion not covered by your insurance plan is to be paid by you at the time of service. For your convenience we accept cash, personal check, Visa, Master Card and Discover.

Our self-pay patients now have a new option for dental care. EPIC Choice is our in-house membership program offering a host of discounts and benefits. Read more here.

In addition, prior to commencing treatment, payment plans and financing arrangements can be made for larger dental treatments. For your convenience we also offer outside financing through CareCredit

  • How do I schedule an emergency appointment?

We understand how oral pain can disrupt your routine, so we'll do our best to treat you right away so that you can get back to your daily life.

If you have a need to reach our doctor outside of office hours, call us at 303-972-2224 and you will be directed to our emergency line.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Your appointments are very important to the Epic Dentistry team.  They are reserved especially for you.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you call our office at least 2 business days before your reserved time and we will take care of your request.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and patients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

Since the time has been reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee of $55 will be charged to your card on file for any appointment missed, cancelled, or changed with less than 48-hours notice.

We know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. As a courtesy, we send out appointment reminders via text messaging (or email if you have indicated preference), giving you the option to confirm your appointment; respond back with a request to change/modify your appointment; or call the office to reschedule your appointment.
